Government College, Bahadurgarh is a premier institute dedicated towards the holistic development of the students belonging to varied strata of life from rural as well as urban areas. The college came into existence in 1967, as an evening college and subsequently converted to morning shift in 1970. Right from its inception, the visionary aspect of the college is to transform this institution in to a paramount among other institutions and educational bodies in its vicinity. The college has accepted every challenge to come at par with the best institutions in terms of keeping abreast with the changing times. This institute understands the importance of overall development of the personality of a student and thrives to bring best out of him. The academic and co curricular calendar are synchronized ingeniously to bring out the best of a student. The teachers try to maintain equilibrium in theoretical and practical knowledge of the students and discouraged them from conformism and rote learning. The extracurricular activities are regularly organized in the college which brings out the humane side of the students to the forefront. The priority of the institute is student centered. The students are encouraged to have an out of the box approach and the college body contemplates to convert their dreams into reality. The institute also plays a pivotal role in inculcating moral values in the students and makes them sensitive and aware towards their moral duties in the society. The different programmers organized from time to time strengthen student’s physical and mental growth .There are various clubs functioning in the college under which various extension activities are organized with collaboration of outside organisations to bring exposure to the students. NSS and NCC activities bring a sense of discipline and responsibility in the students contributing to make them good citizens. Sports activities are much emphasized and over the years this college has emerged as a major breeding centre for players of state and national repute. Our college students achieved following positions in different sports during the session 2019-20:-

Ø   Ramnik of B.A.-I represented M.D. University and won Gold Medal in All India Inter University Qwanki Do Tournament.

Ø  Manjeet of B.A.-III represented M.D. University and won Gold Medal in All India Inter University Wrestling (Free Style) championship.

Ø  Hitesh Kumar of B.A.-III won Silver Medal in Wrestling (Free Style) at KheloIndia Youth Games and also represented M.D. University in All India Inter University Wrestling Championship.

Ø  Aman of B.A.-I represented M.D. University and won Silver Medal in All India Inter University Kick Boxing Tournament.

Ø  Ujjwal of B.A.-II represented M.D. University and won Bronze Medal in All India Inter University Yoga Championship.

Ø  Mohit of B.A.-III represented Haryana State at Senior National Kabaddi Championship.

Ø  College Football team won First position in M.D. University Inter College Football Tournament.

Ø  College Kabaddi team won Second position in State Level Inter College Kabaddi Tournament.

Ø  College Kabaddi team won Third position in M.D. University Inter College Kabaddi Tournament.

Ø  Ramnik of B.A.-I won First position in M.D. University Inter College Taekwondo Tournament and also participated in All India Inter University Taekwondo Tournament.

Ø  Yogesh Maan of B.A.-II won First position in M.D. University Inter College Power Lifting Tournament and also participated in All India Inter University Power Lifting Tournament.

Ø  Four Students of College Football Team represented M. D. University at North Zone Inter University Football Tournament.

Ø  Sahil of B.A.-II represented M.D. University at All India Inter University Floor Ball Tournament.

Ø  Manjeet of B.A.-III won First position in M.D. University Inter College Wrestling (Free Style) Tournament.
